spidey spidey spidey

The IMAX experience with Spiderman 3. A humongous screen in a theatre filled with a superhero-trilogy-hungry audience, as intimidating that may sound, is in fact intimidating. It doesn't help walking in when the front credits are rolling, and the stairs are creaking, and all I want to do is just get to my seat after passing through half a row of people, probably staring and fuming mad at me.

I was slightly underwhelmed by the supposedly funny moments of the film, but it came across as tacky. 'Emo Spidey'? Tap dancing? Simple explosion to end of a villain? Do not register. Good points, fighting against the internal evilness, fighting against the external evilness, fighting against the love conflicts. Gwen Stacy could have had a better story, but I'm Mary-Jane all the way. Venom was scary, and Spidey's appetite obviously got the better of his form.

Redemption, the theme song used for the final credits. Creative music video too, not the usual "Insert movie clips here" videos..

Spiderman 3 down, and many more summer movies to come (i.e. HP5, Stardust, The Simpsons, Shrek 3, POTC3, Evening, and maybe Fantastic Four 2 and Transformers).
