Tomorrow is Merdeka Day! Happy 49th, Malaysia! So a public holiday will mean lots of people (unlike in Canada). Will be lying around at home watching TV, swim, then dinner at Shangri-La Hotel as a celebration for Merdeka and my brother's birthday. Parents and sis will be coming in for that and for our send-off in just 3 days!

Another 5 days to go before I get my butt on the airplane and return to Toronto for the coming school term. Dang, 2 months have passed already? I tried packing my lugagge today. I have yet to pack my few pairs of shoes and I'm already running out of space.
My parents and sister are coming in on Thursday. We will be having a nice dinner to celebrate my brother's birthday. It's Prelims for my sis, and I'm worried we are distracting her. JIAYOU!
PS I'm typing on my 'new' Sony lappie. It was my brother's but crashed in Canada. So we brought it back to KL to fix it, and since he already has a new one, I'm using this! (:

Celebration to come.. Anyway, we finished our guitar crash-course. I need to practise more. We were commended as fast-learners and encouraged by our tutor to continue with lessons in Canada. And still not done with shopping since our budget has been raised. (:

Ha, I spent a whopping amount of money (about 3/4 of my given budget) on clothes and accessories in the last 2 days of shopping at favourite haunts like Topman, Quicksilver, FCUK, etc.. Bought mainly long-sleeves for the Toronto winters. What I'm missing now is a pair of shoes. I saw one I really like at Quicksilver but there isn't my size! NOOO..
Anyway, will still be walking around for the next few days. I don't believe we are returning in 2 weeks!

I'm peeling all over my shoulders and arms! Argh! Just let me tan while I can with the tropical sun. And the gym is soon-to-be ready. So I should be able to work out before having a dip at the pool.
Looks like we may start our shopping tomorrow. Oh, and my guitar teacher, Daniel, is teaching me the start to The Eagles' "Love Will Keep Us Alive" song. Very cool. Next Tuesday will be our last lesson. :(

First of all, it's August 9th! I'm thankful for this day, just for it being a public holiday for my parents and sister in Singapore. Thus, they will be coming into KL to spend this weekend with us. (:
Nothing new though. I swam in the swimming pool of this new condo. I've got to be one of the first few people to use it. It was noon before my 2-out-of-4 guitar lesson yesterday, so I'm feeling a stinging sensation across my shoulders and T-zone. Sun-burn! What a feeling I haven't felt in a while. I'm a little tanned too..
Then, me, my brother and aunts went to have our hair done today. I'm now sporting a brownish-goldish dyed short cut. I like.

A few notes: Aunts' house-moving done (just packing), Malaysia's Mega Sale started, parents and sister coming in from Singapore next week seeing it's an August 9th weekend, I can't wait to swim, and 1/4 of my guitar crash-course happened on Tuesday evening.
The lesson was definitely stressing, since it's one-on-one tutoring. Learnt a few basics but there's the lack of coordination between the brain processing of musical notes, the plucking motion of the hand, and the tapping of the foot. It is just going to get harder, I'm sure of it. Constant practising will do the trick. My aunts bought quite a costly guitar to be shared between me and my brother. Just brought it back to the shop since we discovered some unsightly white markings on it. Will be getting a replacement tomorrow.
Anyway, I must say it feels/looks kind of cool to carry a guitar around. LOL. And now I have to grow some nails on my right hand!
