I've sort of caught up with the Naruto anime episodes that are being shown in Japan at the same time. The anime has caught on with the manga, so to widen the gap once again, the anime are filling in with, how should I put this, less-than-captivating filler episodes.

To satisfy my Naruto-needs, I've resorted to reading the Naruto manga. It's Naruto II, where two and a half years have passed. Very interesting. As I read, I could imagine it in the anime format. When the anime shows Naruto II, I nevertheless will watch it despite knowing what has happened. But since the manga is still being released and translated, I'm forced to read them bit by bit too.. Bleah.

In between waiting, I watch Bleach! Somehow, I heard of this anime for some time, and decided to give it a go. I didn't get what the hype was all about at the start of the anime, but as it went on, Bleach won me over with the plot and characters.

Bleach or Naruto? That's one hell of a question to answer. Naruto is to ninjas as Bleach is to shinigamis (Death Gods). I just love how they are somewhat similar, yet different too. Hhmm..
