and so me, nora and kusuma went to chinatown to have dimsum at bright pearl restaurant. yum, it has been such a long time since i actually had ha gau, siew mai, char siew bau, cheong fun..
then took the streetcar to dundas where kusuma left for guelph. me and nora walked to eaton center for some (window) shopping. i finally bought dan brown's angels and demons paperback novel. there were shops that still had sale, but we didn't get anything.
something really funny happened as we were walking around. i heard grey's anatomy's theme song.. TWICE. at two different stores. this tells me my sudden craze over the show has something to do with a higher power..... might as well say it again, I LOVE GREY'S ANATOMY!
walked out of eaton center and passed by foot locker (a shoe shop). there were flowers, wreaths, candles and notes left outside the shop. why? well, on boxing day, a gunfight between two gangs broke out in broad daylight on the busy area of yonge street. foot locker happened to be the place where one lost her live, while around seven others were injured. it was boxing day, just a day after CHRISTmas day. so what's with the violence? one note wrote: "STOP THE VIOLENCE!". may she lie in peace.. and may the violence end, as soon as possible. we need/want a safe toronto!
me and nora went home after getting some bubble-tea.
