i don't know if most of you guys know, but recently there was a big dispute in the usa over this brain-damaged woman, terri schiavo, and if her feeding tube should be removed after 15 years being in a vegetative state.

well, it's over. she died just today after 13 days w/o food or water.

15 years is a long time. to terri schiavo, it's like for eternity. and these 13 days was just another portion of it. they said her brain was dead 15 years back. but her heart kept on pumping.

this is endurance. may she rest in peace.

good lord, thank you so much for this holiday. just what i need after weeks and weeks of school. i survived yet another week. definitely a long weekend, but there will be schoolwork and long hours on the computer for me.

spring officially started this monday. hooray! so here comes the light spring wear! no more ice, slippery grounds and dirty or white snow.

me and my brother are currently watching a korean series 'dae jang geum' intently. i wasn't too excited about it at first, but the show turned out to be interesting.. and now, we are having the korean vibes. so tmr we will be heading to korea town once again, this time for korean food!

i knew i had many things to blog over the week. but i cannot get anything out now. so this should be it.. till next time.

and so that's the end of my crash course, and my march break! 2 weeks of physics and geometry have made me cranky! well at least i got my mid-yr marks to send to the Us. but i still have to continue these 2 subjects during summer..

life here isn't that much interesting. maybe only the fact that spring is here perks me up! it starts officially next wk. so temperature will be above the wretched 0 deg C. i so can't wait!!!

went for a jap buffet dinner with my bro, and the same 2 other friends that we had jap buffet lunch the other time. one of them is leaving today to the states. and so we stuffed ourselved with sushi, salmon and whatever u find in jap food.

i'm going to relax, and then stress over my bio assignments due next wk. i do need a break! so here i go enjoy the arrival of spring!

i think spring is coming!

birds are chirping, greener grass are appearing, so that should mean spring right? started with noticing lots of sparrows back from the winter migration. then most of the ice/snow are melting, even though it isn't that warm. and also, it's getting later as the sky gets dark, unlike the usual 5+ in the evening. now it's still kind of bright compared to the previous months!

went greek town with my bro just now for a japanese buffet with 2 of his other friends. one is leaving canada for good to go to the states. had fun, as they were all so funny. nearly puked from the bloated tummy and vigorous laughing..

one more week of march break! having tests for geometry and physics on monday, and cramming of more lessons for the whole next week. that's march break for me..

i watched the new season of amazing race just now, even though i very much shouldn't be. it's the march break, but still i have to go to school to take my summer courses. and it's so frustrating to have hmwk, quizzes and tests! like for tmr, a test for geometry and a quiz for physics! arrrgggh!

talking about amazing race, survivor's rob and amber are in this season. they just came in first in the second leg. cunning, but surviving. definitely a strong team, especially since they have put in use many of their survivor skills into good use. the other team members are starting to hate them, but oh come on. this is the race, so don't expect ppl to be all nice to u. unlike kris and jon from the last season who were indeed impressive and awesome nice ppl. but this is how rob and amber play it and there's no rule which doesn't say they can't. they are the team i'm rooting for this season!

yes the long awaited break is finally here! 2 weeks of march break.. but i don't think that really applies to me. =(
i have to start my 2 remaining courses for summer so that i can get the mid-yr results and send it to the universities so hopefully i can get early admittance. so there will be still lessons but i don't have to wake up so early.
we checked our approximate mid-yr marks for some of my current courses, and i'm happy with them, no complaints! lol.

i slept from 8.30pm last night and woke up at 8am this morning. got all my slp back, since i had been slping late the past few days.
