i lost count of the number of times i tried to keep my balance and struggled from giving way to the slippery ground.

last night, unexpectedly, there was a warning for freezing rain that will hit toronto early monday morning. i wasn't aware of it till i hit the pathway on the way to the bus station. the ground became slippery with an ice-coating as temperatures hovered at 0 degrees celsius.
the whole day it was dark and gloomy. like a mourning day. it rained silently but continuously. but hey, today is valentine's day! is there not enough love today to brighten up the day?
the ice melted in the evening as i was on my way home. maybe spring is announcing it's arrival?

something funny happened in school today. we had biology test and emily was all too prepared for it. i warned her about the possibility of being caught, but she kept on saying i was cursing her and it won't happen.
in the end? she did. she's alright though. i couldn't help but giggle as i faced my testpaper. is it me, or is it just that emily was suay today?

i'm going off to prepare dinner and then go collect my laundry from the dryer. so tata!
