school ended and the weekends are here. sort of crazy, two tests next week and maybe a surprise quiz or something. oh, and today we had the meningities shot too. it was ok, but my arm got numb a while, and now it's just stiff.

school is somewhat better. there are new friends, but i still miss ppl back in singapore. communication here is still a BIG problem. i miss talking and crapping with you guys in english, singlish, mandarin.. it was so natural, now i'm all stiff and with the 'erm, erm, erms..'
i went out to eaton center at downtown with this grp of friends (kevin, chaucer, christine, angelina) just now.. we just walked around and tried to shop, but didn't buy anything.
later i met my bro for dinner at this little eating place called 'salad king'. it's something like thai and asian food. we then walked a long way around downtown toronto, walking to ryerson university, and then to some shops. we walked to this place where alot of medical centers are located, then to the ontario provincial government building and to university of toronto at downtown. took a subway to this hip shopping place and then finally headed home. we walked for a very very long distance, and i took some pics using my bro's nokia phone.

will be staying home most of the weekend i suppose. have to study and complete my assignment. and yippy! next wednesday is chinese new yr, and there's half-day! it's kind of short compared to when in singapore where it is like 2-3 days of holidays.. but cny isn't a public holiday here. they should really make it one here since there's so many overseas chinese here! then on fri i will be missing 3 out of 4 periods to go to public library for an english trip..
and i will post up the pics i have taken since i came to canada soon. unless i get lazy suddenly. so pray for those who want to see them.. muahahaha!
