more for the city

me, my bro, ratna, nora and kusuma went to hamilton today for a one-day trip. no specific purpose, just went around and met up with one of the teachers from my bro's canada high school in hamilton, columbia international college.
we had to go down to the south of toronto and take a GO bus (a long-distance coach to other parts of nearby toronto). it took around 2 hours to reach hamilton.

for one thing, hamilton isn't what i thought it to be. it was much smaller and erm, much more dull. it's kind of a suburban city that sprung up next to the lake. the houses are kind of old and run-down, so i think i still prefer toronto, though it's pretty boring too (especially at night!).
met 2 other people, mr.B (the rest calls him this) and june. both were from cic too, and now still lives in hamilton. so we went around.. had dimsum, met a teacher, had dinner at a chinese restaurant. we left at 7pm and i have slacked since then. or should i say, since yesterday.

nora sent us this movie, "Raise Your Voice", starring hilary duff and a few others. it's about a small town girl making it to los angeles for this music programme and chasing after her dreams, the same cliche stuffs. but the show was awesome, and i even parted with some lachrymal secretion & nasal mucus. there are some really cool soundtracks from the movie..
and i also watched "Saved!", starring mandy moore, macaulay culkin, jena malone, and others. the movie it's basically on religion, christianity. the show was kind of religion-sensitive, no wonder spore reviewed it and marked it as a m-18 movie!

well i better go to bed. btw, the 'O' level results should be released anytime soon!
* cross my fingers . blessings!
