i just came home from the trip to the north york public library. the place is kind of big with many levels in this office building. the library is separated into departments- like department of literature and arts, department of economics and history, etc. or something like that.

i got 2 books for my ISU. it's for the english grade where we have to read a novel and write an essay on the story, author and whatever relevant stuffs. we had to find canadian authors so i got: "Not Wanted on the Voyage" by Timothy Findley (based on the fable Noah's Ark in a more fictionised way, and about faith and hope), and "The Hero's Walk" by Anita Rau Badami (about Indian immigrants to canada, their tradition, acceptance, and the overcoming of grief).
i chose the first one in the end. Noah's Ark is afterall part of my childhood.. =)
