groundhog day
today is groundhog day. what a name to call it. i didn't know what it was till yesterday when my bro and my housemate talked about it..
it's like this olden tradition when on this day a groundhog (which is something like a racoon/weasel) will emerge from wherever it lives from hibernation, and if a shadow is casted from the groundhog, then spring will be here soon (or is it the other way round where if a shadow is casted there will be another 6 weeks of winter and cold days?). it's just one of them.
and guess what's the results announced today? there will be 6 weeks of winter!!! arrrggh! hope it's just a grandma tale. i don't want another one-and-a-half months of winter!!!
