long nights..
hey there..
yea i noe. been a while since i blogged.
not much time to do so..
still haf the 8-day journal of the xiamen trip to blog.
and also council camp which was a blast!

back.
the dark cabin, only lighted with the yellow headlights of some seats. most people were deep in slumber, while others just waited for touch-down.
the 'safety-seat belt' sign was on, and i felt tightness at my waist. the aircraft slowly sank down; the airport was nearby.
blop! and the aircraft slowly came to a halt.
it was 11.10 in the night den. we cleared the aircraft and headed to the airport customs, with our hands filled with bags of goodies from xiamen.
after a group photo, it was goodbye.
it was a little anti-climax. everyone silently left, like me.
my mum and sis was there to pick me up.
got on a taxi, and headed for home.
and there it was.
the end of the xiamen exchange programme.
the start of volunteerism and projects.
i miss the trip! boohoo..
will be putting up pics soon. watch out for it!

it's today!
i am leaving house for the airport in like 10 minutes time.. can't wait. so excited.
finished packing, i hope.
not too sure if i left anything.
but hack.. will haf to make do without it den.

ohh yar. just got to know who i am slping wif throughout the trip.. its kaihan. den my family day is with rebecca and dajie dorris. my main grp is wif jerry, janet, winnie, rebecca,and some LIA ppl.. facilitator is jiamin. cool`

last night spent a long time on the computer.
there's something wrong with it.
so i reformatted it.
so now it is like the same old brand new computer!
today went around town.
went to great world city where my family went shopping and ate there.
den went on to orchard and bought some stuffs.
came home late. ate dinner and den me, my sis and my mum went to haf a haircut.
weird. i mean for mine. my sis and my mum cut theirs short.. nicer i guess. looks a little jap kind i guess.
tmr i am going out wif gwen, haikel and hany. kavi may join us later. haix so little ppl going. dat lijuan say go den now cannot. and alot like dil [tuition], janet [project], rebecca [council], jerry and weishu [cca], blah blah haf to do sch stuffs!
do i haf to go to school, eh?
packed halfway.
tuesday is in sight.
another 2 more days till i go to changi airport.
a while more till i leave on a jet plane!

went to school for chem remedial today. sorta useless for me to go for they were just checking papers dat they did the other day.. but learnt some stuff so.. well.
den did the silver jubilee game stall.
haunted house [or maze?]
sorta changed the idea today.
karthi suggested like some kind of haunted house documentary kind of stuff.. quite good but now haf to edit the plan.

pre-departure camp. whoosh!
hey! i am back from the xiamen exchange programme pre-departure camp @ nacli. fun but totally tired. plopped to bed once i reached home.. *yaWn*
as again, i was like one of the last few to arrive at the V-hub @ toapayoh, our meeting place. the familiar faces of "high five" youth awards.. lol. there were also the life inspiration awards ppl, so were the facils [our seniors of the "high five" youth alumni].
speaking of that, yea i am now in the alumni.. after our trip will have projects to work on. quite keen on the singapore youth forum thingy.. publicity. hehehe. coming up will be the arts tapestry..
arrived nacli, with memories about that place.
the good food, good accomodation.
well, the first day was mostly on bonding activities. den there was the briefing on the trip and there was where we got so totally excited.
nacli actually has a karaoke lounge and the song selection there is like better den some ktvs out there. we were there after preparing for the cultural performances we have to put up @ xiamen..
sang and sang like nobody's business. but stupidly got chased out of there at 12. so we went back to our rooms to clean up and den met at someone's room. ppl just kept coming in and we were like buzzing so loudly [even our seniors joined in for a moment, but left thereafter]. some seniors wanted to slp so we went to my room to talk.
we [me, jerry, haikel, kaihan, weisiong, gwen, janet, dil, lijuan, shuyan] talked crap, gossiped about scandals, laughed at jokes all the way till 4 plus in the morning. one by one we just went down. all i remembered was talking about food before i went down.
in the morning the alarm rang at 715am. den the girls went back to their rooms and woke some of us up. but we went back to slp again. slept till 745am when we were supposed to meet at 8am. this was what happened the other time. haha.
break camp like around noon and we took the bus back to toapayoh. one big grp went to the foodcourt to eat but no seats so da-bao back to the V-hub and ate and talked there. jerry, gwen and shuyan went to buy souvenirs we have to get, while me and lijuan made our way home. slept on 159, one person was looking at me slp.

just cannot wait for next tuesday.. meeting at 1130am @ changi airport terminal 2. taking silkair.. was kindda like '...' coz it's silkair afterall. but touchwood! :S
the programme is so so so FREAKING EXCITING. well i mean we are going to so many places- meet officials, stay a night at the earthen-buildings of the hakka community, sight-seeing, visit a village and schools and memorial places, and stay at good hotels with the last night at a hot-spring theme park hotel!

the meet-the-ppl follow-up session @ chongpang cc was.. erm. boring for me as an audience. =x
talked about servantd leadership and some ppl presented their case of like going to thailand and blah.
the gals there made a whole lot of noise. and like ok.
the long-awaited break served good food. well at least to me as i was freaking hungry. the whole thing started one hour late. ended late. duh`
den they gave out the certs to like 300 ppl one-by-one! s2pig. waited and waited. our sch was first and so many ppl did not come. other sch were like full attendance. i was unknowingly put into the !WOW team for doing stuffs dat i did not really do much. crazy.
ate dinner with karthi and hock @ j8 bishan. talked a while and den my mum and sis came by. they went shopping w/o me! grr.
we split and went home.

woke up at 12pm on sunday. nv had such gd slp for a long long time liao. went for breakfast wif family to thomson to makan roti prata.. hehe.
den went orchard and did shopping.. been spending quite alot lately on clothes and movies. soon goin broke, esp need to do shopping for the xiamen trip or wadsoever.
haix. gonna start saving when sch starts.
went to yipling's house later in the evening to celebrate a few ppl's bday. her house, @ yck, is a penthouse condo wif 2 levels.. and guess wad?
the house is filled wif hello kitty items! aahHH!
nearly every intimate detail from the room to the toilet to the kitchen has at least a hello kitty stuff in it. pinkish.. how did her father manage to live in the house? =x
but it was sorta nice after a while. it was cosy.
ordered pizza and den also had some snacks and titbits. watched harry potter & the sorceror's stone there.
left and reached home before 10pm. took melissa's car and it was sorta scary as the father seemed to be in a bad mood. looked and sounded fierce.
did my english compo homework that was given before the exams. was forgotten until mrs chung asked for it to be handed in today. stayed up and finished it before popping into bed.. *yawn*

met the others @ yck mrt.. the ppl who got it are:
shuyan. kavi. gwen. janet. dilpreet. lijuan. hany. winnie. belinda. rebecca. leonard. jerry. haikel. weisiong. mervy. kaihan. waishu.
xuanqi and chungkai got it too.. but they didnt attend the ceremony. seems like xuanqi would not be going to xiamen. actually woochiao and jialun also got in (but they turned it down..)
our facils like tiff, jiayu, huiluan, alvin, blah blah were there. our so-called seniors in the 'high five alumni'. total of 108 members. whoah!
well the ceremony was formal but glamourous. we took countless number of photos..
personal ones and those formal ones too.
toally like big stars. all the flashlight.
gosh! our smiles were like fixed there.
got a plaque and a cert.. left for home, while some went out i guess. the pre-departure camp is 2 days away.
its finalised that i am going to xiamen!
