pre-departure camp. whoosh!
hey! i am back from the xiamen exchange programme pre-departure camp @ nacli. fun but totally tired. plopped to bed once i reached home.. *yaWn*
as again, i was like one of the last few to arrive at the V-hub @ toapayoh, our meeting place. the familiar faces of "high five" youth awards.. lol. there were also the life inspiration awards ppl, so were the facils [our seniors of the "high five" youth alumni].
speaking of that, yea i am now in the alumni.. after our trip will have projects to work on. quite keen on the singapore youth forum thingy.. publicity. hehehe. coming up will be the arts tapestry..
arrived nacli, with memories about that place.
the good food, good accomodation.
well, the first day was mostly on bonding activities. den there was the briefing on the trip and there was where we got so totally excited.
nacli actually has a karaoke lounge and the song selection there is like better den some ktvs out there. we were there after preparing for the cultural performances we have to put up @ xiamen..
sang and sang like nobody's business. but stupidly got chased out of there at 12. so we went back to our rooms to clean up and den met at someone's room. ppl just kept coming in and we were like buzzing so loudly [even our seniors joined in for a moment, but left thereafter]. some seniors wanted to slp so we went to my room to talk.
we [me, jerry, haikel, kaihan, weisiong, gwen, janet, dil, lijuan, shuyan] talked crap, gossiped about scandals, laughed at jokes all the way till 4 plus in the morning. one by one we just went down. all i remembered was talking about food before i went down.
in the morning the alarm rang at 715am. den the girls went back to their rooms and woke some of us up. but we went back to slp again. slept till 745am when we were supposed to meet at 8am. this was what happened the other time. haha.
break camp like around noon and we took the bus back to toapayoh. one big grp went to the foodcourt to eat but no seats so da-bao back to the V-hub and ate and talked there. jerry, gwen and shuyan went to buy souvenirs we have to get, while me and lijuan made our way home. slept on 159, one person was looking at me slp.

just cannot wait for next tuesday.. meeting at 1130am @ changi airport terminal 2. taking silkair.. was kindda like '...' coz it's silkair afterall. but touchwood! :S
the programme is so so so FREAKING EXCITING. well i mean we are going to so many places- meet officials, stay a night at the earthen-buildings of the hakka community, sight-seeing, visit a village and schools and memorial places, and stay at good hotels with the last night at a hot-spring theme park hotel!

gonna go out with the hifivers on mon. shopping or catch a movie maybe.
